The Team
There’s no mistake in our Thunder Tech pride; it’s something we wear and advertise happily through the school and our community. We’re a small group, but this makes us very close-knitted, most of us were familiar with at least one other team member before. There is never an awkward moment since we’re such good friends, and ignoring all our differences, we came together for one thing; the robot. There is a lot of growth that‘s transpired through our time together, and it has become very easy to identify how each individual has changed within this time. Leadership has blossomed, and those usually introverted have grown accustomed to speaking their minds more often. Before, most of us would wander about, lost and confused. Now our team mates work to help each other out. Little time is wasted as we learn about not only mechanics and such, but about ourselves. Our group is very diverse, and we come from a large school in a community where many are without a college degree, but here we are learning and applying ourselves to something that can potentially help us become better people, students, and learners. Despite our being a rookie team, we do take pride in our stride, and we make sure to ring it through our thunder every day.
